I think the most difficult question for our holiday lovers is where to hang it. Of course, this fun from Mexico is more suitable for outdoor activities, and a tree branch is used as a support, but it is quite possible to hang it in a room with a high ceiling.

The original Spanish form of the piñata is the star. Designation - the Star of Bethlehem, showing the way to wanderers during the Christmas period (from December 16 to 24). You know, having decided to show how to make a piñata with my own hands at home, for some reason I thought: what a pity that in my childhood there was no such toy, or rather, a game. This is a real surprise with wonderful gifts. And most importantly, all the kids are happy, and a children's holiday with such fun will definitely be the best! What to do if there is a party tomorrow and you urgently need a piñata, or even worse, guests will come in three hours, and you have nothing to surprise them with? It turns out that a piñata can be made in such a short time and you don’t need to mess with papier mache! You only need any cardboard (boxes from appliances or even from cereals), adhesive tape, scissors and crepe paper, which can be bought at the nearest stationery store.

If there is a single piece of cardboard - great, if not, then we glue several pieces with tape to get a sheet of the desired size.

We need two such details. Between them, for strength, we fasten supports, for example, paper tubes or cups or twisted cardboard. Fix with tape. Decorate with paper. You can take color, newspapers (for vintage piñata), magazines, crepe paper (ideally). We cut off the strip, make cuts on it, twist it a little and glue the strips with an overlap until we fill the entire cardboard. If it was made from white paper, then we tint it with a spray can or ordinary paints in the desired color.

How to make a do-it-yourself piñata from a balloon and papier mache

It's time to show Master Class. I'll try to instruction was as simple as possible, then it is easy to step by step repeat everything on it. BUT a photo help visualize the process.

• Water - boiling water (500 ml) and cold (200 ml);

3. If we did our best and made a real unkilled monster - well done! But you will have to make another toy, more “weak”, so that it does break. And leave the first piñata as a trophy. Or don't overdo it the first time. This also applies to the number of layers, and how we fastened the individual parts. After all, the adhesive tape "break" definitely will not work. Therefore, it is possible to pre-make incisions in some places.

Do-it-yourself piñata out of the box - quick and easy

This method is suitable for beginners. Here you don’t even need to glue anything, almost ... You need a box of the right size, rope, wrapping paper, you can use colored or crepe paper or magazines, as in the first master class.

We fill the box with sweets, toys, surprises. We tie it crosswise with a rope or ribbon. We wrap the box with paper, fix it with tape. And glue the image of your favorite hero in the style of a party.

You can make cuts from comics or magazines, in general, any bright pictures will do!

And how do you like the idea for boys to make a piñata from minecraft. It's a couple of rubbish. Again, you need a box and colored or corrugated paper. First draw the face with a pencil on the box, and then glue it with paper.

• Now glue the blank in 3 layers with newspapers.

How to make a Piñata unicorn with ribbons: MK, schemes and templates

It will be much more interesting for children to play if we come up with a plot of a funny story for them. And unicorn piñatas will help us with this. These cute characters of a kind fairy tale will decorate the holiday and make your favorite game even more interesting.

In this version, our piñata will be made like the previous craft:

• We make 2 circles and a strip. Since this blank will not be made of papier-mâché, we immediately choose a denser material - cardboard.

3. Next, stick several layers of strips, preferably 2-3, already from paper, using a paste. Each should dry for about 8 hours. Leave a hole near the tip unsealed.
4. After drying, the ball burst and remove. Make 3-4 holes around the perimeter, insert the tape. Fill the toy with stuffing, seal the hole.
5. Outline the muzzle of the bird - paint the eyes, beak and eyebrows, as shown in the photo.

Spiderman

For decoration, corrugated and plain colored paper will be used here. In general, the following materials will be required for the master class:

• balloon - 1 pc.;
• filling for piñata - at your discretion;
• water - 1 tbsp. + 5 st.;
• flour - 1/4 tbsp.;
• ribbon or rope - 1 pc. for hanging;
• black paper - 2 sheets;
• newspaper - 7-8 sheets;
• corrugated red paper - 10-11 sheets;
• shiny paper - 1 sheet.

You can take the first steps in making the frame and cooking the paste in the previous master class. The finished base of the piñata can only be decorated:

1. After the frame has dried, burst the ball, remove it. Near the hole at the top, make a couple of holes through which to thread the tape.
2. Cut their corrugated paper into strips about 3 cm thick. Make cuts along the entire length of each, but de to the end to make a fringe.
3. Glue the entire piñata with the resulting strips. Next, cut out black lines about 1 cm thick from black paper. Stick them on the workpiece, as shown in the figure, in the form of a web.
4. Cut out spider eyes from black and shiny paper, fasten them over the cobweb.

Cold heart

The next version of the piñata is also made very simply, almost according to classical technology. For the master class you will need:

• air balloon - 1 pc.;
• filling - sweets, tinsel, small souvenirs;
• water - 1 tbsp. + 5 st.;
• flour - 1/4 tbsp.;
• satin ribbons - 10-12 pieces;
• newspaper - 7-8 sheets;
• decorations - images of characters from the cartoon "Frozen".

You can use paper instead of newspapers, which is sold with shoes. Instructions for making a piñata with your own hands and includes the following steps:

1. Inflate the balloon, tie the end with a long thread.
2. Cut the newspaper into strips about 3 cm wide.
3. Put the ball on some kind of base - a saucepan or a jar.
4. Place a newspaper on it crosswise, just moistened with water. Let dry for 2-3 hours.
5. Mix flour with a glass of water, and boil the rest of the liquid. Then pour the flour mixture there, cook for 3 minutes over low heat, cool.
6. Paste the ball with a second layer of newspaper, dipping it already in the paste. Leave the end piece open. Let dry and apply 1-2 more layers.
7. After complete drying, cut off the tip of the ball, pull it out.
8. Pierce the bottom of the piñata with an awl or cut through with a clerical knife, insert the tape there. Seal the hole with paper.
9. Fold the filling inside, make several holes near the top hole, put the tape into them several times. Cover the hole with paper.
10. Mix acrylic paints, cover the piñata blue.
11. When dry, stick on top of the cartoon characters.

Piñata transformers

This do-it-yourself piñata is made from simple cardboard. Such a frame can have any shape you need. The list of materials and tools includes the following:

• cardboard box - 2 large pieces;
• corrugated paper blue - 10-12 sheets;
• white and blue paper - 5-6 sheets each;
• hanging tape - 1 pc.;
• water - 1 tbsp. + 5 st.;
• acrylic paints - white and blue;
• flour - 1/4 tbsp.;
• scotch;
• sweets to fill.

The paste can be cooked according to the technology described above from flour diluted with water. The piñata itself is made according to the following instructions:

1. Cut out 2 blanks from cardboard, drawing a shape approximately like the Autobot's face in the photo.
2. Cut the side parts and connect all the parts with adhesive tape.
3. Using the finished paste and paper, paste over the workpiece in 2-3 layers, allowing each to dry for 6-8 hours.
4. On the upper part, closer to the edges, make two holes where to push the tape. Fill with sweets, seal the holes.
5. Decorate the front part with blue paper using double-sided tape, and the rest with corrugated fringe.
6. Glue the face of the Autobot cut out of white paper according to the drawing on the front side.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle

The blank for this piñata can be made according to the master class of the bird from Angry Birds. Only decoration will differ, for which you will need:

• corrugated paper - green and orange;
• printed eyes and a mouth for a turtle.

After gluing and drying the ball, you can proceed to its design with the indicated materials according to the following simple instructions:

1. From green paper, make a lot of fringe strips, almost for the entire piñata, and from orange - only 4-5 pieces.
2. Glue the last ones in the middle. Green to decorate the remaining surface of the ball.
3. Fill with stuffing, mask the hole with adhesive tape.
4. On the side, make a bow of a turtle bandana, as shown in the photo.

Pirate piñata

Another type of piñata, where the blank is a papier-mâché ball. You can make it according to the instructions in the first master class. For decoration you will need:

• black corrugated paper - 10-12 sheets;
• orange corrugated paper - 1 sheet;
• printed image of the skull - 1 pc.;
• stick - 1 pc.;
• black cardboard - 1 sheet.

The design here is very simple, even a child can handle it. Having made the blank, you can start decorating according to the following instructions:

1. From black corrugated paper, cut the fringe in the form of strips, paste over the entire ball with them.
2. Paste a picture of a skull on top.
3. Attach a low cylinder of black cardboard to the side. Insert a stick into its center, and glue a few short strips of orange corrugated paper to it.

I think many of you watched the movie "Problem Child" as a child.

Personally, I saw him many times as a child, and there is one scene that I remember the most - a very "fun" birthday of some girl. I then paid great attention to a toy animal, which, according to tradition, must be broken so that sweets fall out of it.

This surprised me, because until that moment I had not seen anything like it.

So, this toy is called a piñata (Spanish: piñata), today I will tell you a little about what it means, and why you need to break it at all.

And although piñatas are not so popular in Russia, many of you still know about them from films and cartoons.

Now you know that this large hollow toy, in which various sweets, nuts, etc. are placed, is called a piñata. Usually it is hung on a tree on the street. One person is blindfolded, circled, given a stick, and sent to look for a piñata to break it for candy. The other members try to confuse him.

For the first time, the tradition of breaking a piñata appeared in Spain, then it moved to Mexico and took root there very well. Colorful and beautiful piñatas go well with vibrant Mexico.

For a long time, this fun was associated with Christmas. Before Christmas they made piñatas in the form of stars.

But the shape of the star was chosen for a reason. These piñatas symbolize the Star of Bethlehem, which, according to people, shows the way to wanderers during the Christmas period. Such a star has seven ends, each of which represents one of the seven deadly sins. That is why people are so eager to break it during the game; they, one might say, break the sins, turning them into candy.

Well, now in Mexico, not a single holiday is complete without a piñata. They are already made in a wide variety of shapes, colors, sizes. This fun is very fond of the inhabitants of the United States, and it is becoming more and more popular in other countries. In US stores, for example, you can find piñatas in the shape of characters from cartoons, comics, games, etc.
